For Children Preschool through 5th Grade

Children are invited to join us for a fun and engaging Sunday School program where they will learn about God's love and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Through age-appropriate Bible lessons, hands-on activities, games, crafts, music, and interactive learning experiences, children will discover God's Word in a meaningful and memorable way. Our dedicated teachers use creative teaching methods and visual aids to help children understand biblical truths and apply them to everyday life.

Children will:

• Learn Bible stories and key Christian teachings

• Grow in their understanding of God's love

• Build friendships in a caring Christian environment

• Participate in fun, hands-on activities

• Develop a foundation for lifelong faith

Sunday School at Immanuel Crystal Lake begins August 24 and meets every Sunday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

For the safety and well-being of all children, a parent or guardian must remain in the building while their child attends Sunday School.

For 6th Grade Students

Verge Bible Study is a dynamic 6th grade Bible study designed to help students explore God's Word and discover how faith applies to their everyday lives.

Through engaging lessons, games, service projects, videos, and interactive activities, students learn how to navigate the Bible, understand Scripture, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. This high-energy class encourages students to ask questions, build friendships, and develop a strong foundation of faith.

Students will:

• Learn how to read and use the Bible

• Explore key biblical teachings

• Connect Scripture to everyday life

• Participate in hands-on activities and service opportunities

• Build friendships in a Christian community

First Communion instruction is also included as part of this class and takes place on the first Sunday of each month from January through April.

Whether students are new to Bible study or have been attending church for years, Verge provides a welcoming environment where faith, learning, and fun come together.

Our Lutheran Confirmation program is a two-year Bible study designed to help students grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of God's Word, and prepare for Confirmation in the Lutheran Church.

Using the Bible and Luther's Small Catechism, students explore key teachings of the Christian faith, including:

• The Ten Commandments

• The Apostles' Creed

• The Lord's Prayer

• Holy Baptism

• Holy Communion

Through Scripture study, discussion, and practical application, students learn how these foundational teachings guide their relationship with Jesus Christ and apply to everyday life.

This Confirmation Bible study helps students build a strong faith foundation, understand Lutheran beliefs, and grow as lifelong disciples of Christ.

Grades 9 - 12

Life comes with big questions. High School Bible Study at Immanuel Crystal Lake is a place where students in grades 9-12 can explore God's Word, grow in their faith, and connect with others in a welcoming and authentic Christian community.

Each week, students gather for Bible study, prayer, and discussion focused on real-life topics, including school, friendships, family, and the future. Together, we explore how God's truth provides guidance and encouragement for everyday life.
