Fine Arts

The Arts

Immanuel's commitment to well-rounded children includes a commitment to both the Visual and Performance Arts. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 4 takes three Fine Arts classes a week. Students in Grades 5-8 are required to take one Visual Arts class and have elective opportunities in Painting, Music Appreciation, or to be a part of the Glory Singers.

Immanuel also offers opportunities for students to take band lessons, play in the school band, and participate in the annual Junior Broadway Musical.

Broadway Productions

Participating in musical productions provides students a creative outlet, builds confidence and leadership skills, and allows them to more clearly see a blossoming of abilities they have been blessed with by God.

Each year, Grades 5-8 put on a Junior Broadway Production. The productions include opportunities for students to sing, dance, act, create costumes, build sets, and help with lighting and sound. Students, parents, and teachers all work together to put on the production that so many in the Immanuel and Crystal Lake communities look forward to each year!

Previous Junior Broadway Productions include Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, The Lion King, and Annie.
