Immanuel offers many events, groups, and opportunities to grow your faith and work in service, volunteering and participating throughout the year. Bible study, small groups, monthly groups, and once a year events are part of the opportunities available for all. Let us help you connect and be a part of the family of believers at Immanuel!

Mothers of PreSchoolers meet 2 Tuesdays a month at Immanuel during the school year, while children are with caregivers. Great friends, speakers, snacks, mentors, and fun!

Senior Socials

Senior Socials are held 4 times per year at the Pointe 5650 Northwest Hwy, Crystal Lake (Next to Target). This free event has a meal and entertainment celebrating Octoberfest (September), Christmas (December), St. Patrick’s Day (March), and Memorial Day (May). Watch the website and announcements for specific dates. Seniors from Immanuel, along with friends and the community are invited to attend these fun events.

FIT: Summer Exercise and Faith Building Opportunity for Parents and Kids

This summer, join Immanuel members Amy Warfel and Amy Shulfer for FIT (Faith & Interval Training) where you and your kiddos will grow physically and spiritually stronger. Class opportunities will be Thursday mornings during the summer months from 8-9 am on Immanuel’s playground. The hour will consist of 30 minutes of interval training and 30 minutes of devotions for both parents and children.

“Moms Meet at the Park”: Book Study and Playgroup

Moms, grab the kiddos and join other Immanuel moms and kids on Tuesday mornings this summer.  Kids play at the adjacent park while Moms dive deep into the book, Reclaiming Home by Krista Gilbert. Through the book, learn creative ways on how to tackle modern dilemmas of busyness, media, and self-imposed social standards. Learn to focus on intentionality, traditions, work ethic and peace for yourselves and your children; all under the direction of God in your life. Meet at the park at 10 am on Tuesdays beginning 6/11 at the Village of Prairie Grove Park on Barreville Rd.
