We value Christian education at Immanuel outside of worship. Sunday School is a place where students can learn more about our awesome Lord and grow in relationships with friends.
Sunday School is offered to potty trained 3 year olds through 5th Graders from 9:30 -10:30 am on Sunday mornings.
There is no fee for Sunday School, but children must be registered. You can register any Sunday morning at the check-in table.
Feel free to contact us at any time with questions.
Tot-Time - Begins in the Fall, 2016
We know that raising little ones can involve new adventures every day. Tot-Time meets on Sunday mornings at from 9:30-10:30 am in the gym and is a place where both parents and children can connect together.
Tot-Time is for parents and toddlers and is led by trained volunteers who have young children of their own. Tot-Time is a precursor to Sunday School and is a great hour of music, crafts, large and small skills and guided play. Come and see what the fun is all about!

Church Nursery, Wiggle Room and Nursing Room
We at Immanuel want to make you and your children feel as comfortable as possible. We provide childcare for children ages birth through 5 years old in our Nursery. During all of our Saturday/Sunday worship services while you either worship or attend one of education hour classes, you can rest assured that your little one is well cared for. All of our childcare volunteers are trained, background checked and have a nurturing nature. We do all of this in order to provide you with the comfort and security you deserve.
Or, perhaps you and your child need a little break together during worship…..visit our Wiggle Room just off the main hallway at our Pathway Ct. campus.
Immanuel has a private nursing room at the Pathway Ct. campus for moms who may need a little quiet time. The nursing room is located just behind the desk area in the school library.
Immanuel hosts a number of events for all kinds of families throughout the year. Contact Laura Gilleland at 815-459-1441 or at for questions.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to encourage mothers with children, infant through Kindergarten. MOPS provides a caring, accepting atmosphere where mothers have an opportunity to share concerns, explore areas of creativity and hear instruction that equips them for the responsibilities of family and community. Its format includes food, fellowship, small group discussion, outreach activities and teaching from a Biblical perspective. Topics may include womanhood, marriage, parenting and family relationships.
MOPPETS is a loving program offering quality childcare with a spiritual emphasis, using stories, games and songs.
We look forward to spending our Tuesday mornings with you (and your children!) and seeing what blessings we’ll all receive. Feel free to contact us with any questions you have.
